Our Story
The Balinese Ballroom was built in 1876 and has been restored to showcase its industrial character and stunning proportions.
It is located in the historic Pinch District, a Memphis landmark. The Pinch District preserves the ambiance of a kind of urban neighborhood that longer exists in Memphis.
The Pinch not only contains a number of sites that recall the early settlement of Memphis, but is also the location of a significant concentration of late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century buildings that housed the commercial and residential life of a variety of distinct ethnic groups around the turn of the century.
Our unique and versatile space allows us to customize and separate the venue to suit your needs so you can have your meetings, wedding ceremonies, receptions, and dinner parties all in one convenient location.

I am a 29 year old animal lover, people person, and cancer survivor. I am a Memphis native. I attended Collierville High School & the University of Memphis.
This position is something I could have never imagined.
I take pride in hard work, constant communication, and a vibrant imagination.
Building a close and trusting relationship with my clients is a top priority of mine.
I have a passion for guiding each client to find the venue they've always dreamed of. I'm so excited to help you plan your special day in the most stress free way.

I loved the simple yet elegance decor, which makes it the perfect backdrop for any event color scheme . The tea lights and drapping on the ceiling provides the perfect accent of elegance for any event, especially a wedding . Besides the decor, the staff was super friendly and accommodating throughout my entire planning process. Also, we got plenty of compliments on the food throughout the wedding night as well. "This was one of a dozen places my daughter and I researched for her wedding reception venue. The staff in the office was exceptional in working with my daughter who lives in Dallas and was making many of her decisions long distance. They were fabulous the night of the reception: the food, the staff, the bartenders, and the security. The staff was so willing to work with the band, cake and flower people. They were so helpful in getting presents, cake, liquor, and flowers to our car, loaded twice. I have nothing but many kudos to these wonderful professional people. They made my daughter's wedding reception worry free, and that was such a gift to her and her groom and to our family."
